Just got back from our local grocery store...Amazed by all the guys in the express line getting flowers and chocolate.
Not that there is anything wrong with that. But it has always intrigued me when advertisers, the press and people in general make such a big deal about Valentines Day.
In a relationship, especially a marriage, everyday should be filled with some romance and excitement. Holidays like Valentines Day should not be days where you have undue pressure to impress and "get out of the doghouse." For married couples, anniversaries can be included in that category also...
My point is this...and I am primarily speaking to the guys here...go out of your way everyday to inject something special into your relationship. Then on days like anniversaries and Valentines day, you can put an exclamation point on your relationship!!
