Is it possible to reach our full potential?

Hello friend

Can we live to our potential? 100%?

We all know the answer is NO. But we should still try to live to our full potential. Yes or No?

I discussed that topic and so much more with Dr. Bob Flower on this weeks podcast.

He spent over 35 years of his career studying potential and the best ways to fully achieve it. Along with his pursuit of The Theory of Potential, he was able to create the Science of Achievement and Total Success.

It was a weird and quirky conversation but I am enjoying those types of interviews more and more.  Listen to the full episode on our website or your favorite podcast platform. You can also watch a short 3 minute clip on YouTube.

Help us choose our website design

We have been considering making changes to the SeekGoCreate website. The current site looks nice but it is so stinking slow we are forced to look at other options.

Would love to get your input so take a look at our choices and hit reply to choose your favorite:

Thanks for your help.

Keep reaching for your potential,

Tim

Do we make our work an idol?

Hey friend

Our identity is woven into what we do for work, our titles, how much money we make and the stuff we have.

At what point do we confuse Who we are with What we do? Our work can easily become our identity.

My recent conversation with Dr. Michaela O'Donnell, the Executive Director of the Max De Pree Center for Leadership, was all about work and calling and faith and how we navigate living and working in the world system while being Kingdom of God citizens.

It was one of my all time favorite interviews for the Seek Go Create podcast. My desire is for everyone to listen to the wisdom she shared.

If you are a person of faith attempting to navigate work and making money OR if you're searching for ways to make your work matter, make sure to listen to the full episode.

Or you can watch a short 3 minute video clip HERE.

Stay strong and wise,
Tim

PS - Release day for my novel Coach: A Story of Success Redefined is less than a month away on May 17. Stay updated about the book release HERE
We just received this note from Mike Thakur - CEO, Author & Podcast Host in Houston via the UK:

"Tim loves Jesus. That fact flows through everything he touches from podcasting to coaching and now writing. This book is a heartfelt message from Tim to the reader, touching on Jesus' love for you in a unique and elegant way. To read the story of one person's journey, and see glimpses of so many others across the pages that cover it will make you smile, cry and reach for your journal to jot down a few 'truths' along the way."

Good Friday, cold weather and a bootlegger great grandmother

Hey friend

My wife Glori and I are homeless. And we have been since 2013.

We live, travel and work in our 39 foot motor coach that we have named Theo. It is a great life and it is difficult to describe to most people how liberating it is to own very little and to be able to move around.

It was very nice being a nomad and socially distanced BEFORE we all knew what socially distancing meant.

We get many questions. Every time I get on a Zoom call or connect with someone the first question is almost always, "Where are you now?"

After flying to Atlanta for client visits and checking on parents for a few weeks, we are in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Which may sound neat but it was incredibly cold the last few days.

Yesterday we had a low temp of 10 degrees and a high of only 27!

It is on days like this that Glori and I look at ourselves and say, "We live in an RV. Why are we here?"

Praying for a resurrection of warm temperatures for Resurrection Weekend!

My great grandmother was a bootlegger

Our podcast interview that released this week with LaDondra Hervey was packed with wisdom and conversations about power, legacy and the Kingdom of God. She is an author, keynote speaker, and certified business coach. She empowers women to create sustainable businesses.

We all need to stretch ourselves at times. It is rare that I am surprised or shocked during an interview, but when she was sharing her backstory of growing up in west Texas she had my attention. Her family history of "entrepreneurs" includes drug dealers and her great grandmother was a bootlegger!

Read the Bible in a Year

My wife Glori is leading a group that is reading the Bible in 2022.  I am in the group and we have just crossed the 100 day mark and are in the books of Samuel learning about King Saul and David.

I have read through the entire Bible multiple times, but this program is great because you are doing it with a group and adding in a podcast, group discussions and more.

It is still possible to join…CLICK HERE to get more info and jump in the group.

Enjoy your Resurrection Weekend…remember what this holiday is really all about. HINT: it is not about Easter & Eggs.

Stay strong and wise,
Tim

Thou shall not fool thyself  ðŸ˜œ

Hey friend

We are overloaded with information every single day. Some of that information is valuable and useful to us. But much of the information is false…or dare I say FAKE and we can easily be deceived.

Years ago I started repeating the statement I put in the subject line above - "Thou shall not fool thyself".

It sounds like it could come from the Bible but I do not think it is directly from scripture. It really just serves as a reminder to me that I need to be seeking wisdom, not foolishness.

I have not always succeeded but we should all attempt to be more wise.

Wisdom is the main topic of this week's podcast episode that just released. And yes it was intentional that we talked about being wise during the first week of April when the world celebrates the foolish.

Visit the episode page to get more details at SeekGoCreate.com.

You can also listen to the episode on your Podcast Player or YouTube.

I would love for you to listen and give me your thoughts.

A few other quick topics:

My book is finished!

My new book Coach: A Story of Success Redefined releases May 17. It is an inspirational novel that has a touch of edginess with a supernatural twist. The style and genre was inspired by Og Mandino classics The Greatest Salesman in the World and The Choice. Plus the educational storytelling of Patrick Lencioni and countless other authors that have been able to combine learning and fiction.

SeekGoCreate is on YouTube

We have video of every podcast interview we have recorded. About 18 months ago we started editing those episodes and putting them on YouTube. I will admit that we did not focus much on really growing the channel and making it sizzle.

A few weeks ago we began improving our editing process, added shorter clips, upgraded our thumbnail images and improved our descriptions. The results have been amazing.

If you have not visited the channel lately….or if you have never visited, GO NOW and subscribe.

Stay strong and wise,
Tim
